This Autumn Winter, Urban Outfitters steps outside with Columbia with a collection featuring fleeces, cropped puffers & gilets - unparalleled comfort and durability designed to withstand the unpredictable outdoors. 

 

Founded in Portland, Oregon, back in 1938, Columbia became renowned in the world of performance-driven apparel, specialising in camping equipment and ski apparel. In more recent decades — mostly thanks to the ongoing rise in popularity of functional outerwear as everyday wear — the brand has continued to be celebrated as a staple.

 

To celebrate the collection, the campaign directed by Orienteer draws on inspiration from Northern European renaissance paintings - looking at the composition and the beauty of the seemingly mundane, everyday scenarios turned into something more through the artist's lens.

 

Recreating these narratives through a renaissance depiction whilst merging them with the Orienteer aesthetic gives us a new perspective on the outdoors, where style and function remain integral.
